Red Dirt Harvest Festival. (Grape Ranch Winery. 6 miles south of Okemah off HW 27.)

Friday, 31 August, 8 PM; Saturday, 1 September, 2:30 PM.

The highlight of the year... Music for three nights and two days. And, for me, to think that half a million kids can get together for fun and music, and nothing but fun and music and God bless you for it... oh, sorry, I was channeling Max Yasger of Woodstock's Yasger's Farm Fame for a second. Anyway, Friday night we'll be playing songs by Oklahoma songwriters, Saturday, I'll have the band: Jeff Graham, David White and Michael Steed; and Sunday, we're drinking frozen Country Roses. Go to: http://www.graperanch.com/ or http://www.reddirtfestival.com/music.asp

Tuesday Night Science. (HW 75 in Dewey, Oklahoma.) Tuesday, 4 September, 9:30 PM.

This is the child (illegitimate, bastard, love?) of Tom Skinner and his Wednesday Night Science Project. Just up in Dewey...

Rick's Cafe Americain. (51st & Harvard, Tulsa.) Wednesdays, 4, 11, 18, 25 September, 6:30- 9:30. All, alas, is once again right with the world.

Veterans Park. (21st and Boulder, Tulsa.) Saturday, 8 September, noonish.

With Jeff Graham, David White, Michael Steed. This is a benefit for Oklahoma Alliance for Animals-- it's called Woofstock (Huh, get it?)-- so bring your animal and listen intentely to others' stories of how cute their pets are until it's your turn to do the same. My puppy, Princess Jackie Pi Freckle Butt Shadow, the Destroyer-- will be working the merch table.

Oklahoma State Fair. (Grape Ranch Tent, Fairgrounds, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.) Thursday, 20 September, 7:30-9:30 PM. With Jeff Graham, David White, Michael Steed.

Note that this is Oklahoma City's Fair not Tulsa's, but I'm sure you'll still feel exhilirated, nauseous and in need of a shower when you get home.

Doe's. (On Cherry Street, between Utica and Peoria, Tulsa.) Friday, 14 & 28 September, 7-10 PM. Out on the beautiful new patio, on 15th Street. If you're driving by, you'll feel the need to honk. Don't.

Grape Ranch Winery. (6 miles south of Okemah off HW 27.) Saturday, 15 September and Sunday, 30 September, 2-6 PM. This is a singer-songwriter series that the Whitemans have been hosting all year. We'll sing of broken hearts, discarded dreams, death, disease, infidelities, bankruptcies, and the relentlessness of time and decay. And then, we shall dance!

Lavender Hill Farm. (Follow HW 64 through Leonard, to Stone Bluff, Oklahoma.) Saturday, 22 September, 1-5 PM. Will be playing at a place I love. This festival, though, is special, as it commemorates the first annual harvest of grapes. I'm sure there will be samples. www.lavenderhillfarm

Tulsa Community College. (Metro Campus, downtown Tulsa.) Wednesday, 26 September, 11 AM- 2 PM. If you're having trouble studying-- and, really, who isn't these days-- come by the downtown campus for two hours of fun and music. And for all you disinterested college students who should be studying, this afternoon's for you.

RSU Radio/Local Flavors. (91.3 FM, Claremore, Oklahoma.) Monday, 24 September, 8 PMish. With my band, if they can remember the directions, and the one and only, Davit Souders and his Diabolical Productions. One of many programs Mr. Souders-- and I say Mr. Souders to ingratiate myself-- broadcasts to promote the regional music scene. He's a gem; so's the show. Go to: http://www.myspace.com/diabolical_productions

Dusk Til Dawn Blues Festival 2007 features some 35 acts playing some 65 hours of music

Rentiesville may be a small town, but it is home to a blues music institution of sorts – the Down Home Blues Club – D.C. Minner’s grandmother’s old corn-whiskey hall.

And this year, the esteemed musician will open the club’s doors to fans young and old as he hosts the 16th annual celebration of gritty Oklahoma, regional and national blues music.

The Dusk Til Dawn Blues Festival will be Friday through Sunday, at the intersection of blues, John Hope Street and D.C. Minner Avenue.

Thirty-five acts are scheduled to play over three days – that’s 50 sets with more than 65 hours of music, from festival veterans and newbies alike.

Acts to watch…

Michael Burks
“I haven’t played this event in years,” said Arkansas-based Michael Burks, “But I’m coming back for D.C. and Selby (Minner). They’re great people, like friends to me.”

The blues veteran is performing two sets on Sunday, at 9:45 p.m. and 1 a.m., according to the festival’s Web site, www. tulsaworld.com/Minner.

This will be his third time to play the event, he said.

In 2001, his album “Make It Rain” was named one of the top 200 greatest guitar recordings by GuitarOne magazine, and in 2004, Living Blues Magazine named him “Most Outstanding Musician – Guitar” in its critics poll.

He started playing guitar at the tender age of 2, and played his first gig at age 6. By the ’70s, the musician was fronting his own band, and backing blues and R&B greats such as Johnnie Taylor and O.V. Wright.

The Chicago Sun-Times has called his work “chilling and heartfelt.” His most recent CD, “I Smell Smoke,” is lit with passion and red-hot guitar.

He’s currently working on a new album, not yet titled, which he hopes to release in early 2008.

“I don’t play Oklahoma much, so I’m really looking forward to bringing something back for my fans there,” he said. “It’ll be a good, high-energy show.”

E.G. Kight
Fondly known as the “Georgia Songbird,” Kight was nominated for her third Blues Music Award in the Contemporary Female Blues Artist category this year. She has received multiple nominations in previous years for her songs and performances.

Her latest CD, “Live & Naked,” noted for its unique combination of Southern rock, jazz and gospel contemporary riffs, is getting airplay across the nation.

Look for her at 9:45 p.m. Saturday on the Outdoor Main Stage and midnight on the Indoor Club Stage with the D.C. Minner Band.

Gary Von Tersh of Sing Out magazine said “Kight’s is a voice to be reckoned with, no matter what the genre.”

Like Burks, Kight’s been playing guitar since childhood. And it shows.

And of course, D.C. and Selby Minner
Yeah, if you’re coming to D.C.’s festival, it’s smart that you see the couple who started it all.

There will be plenty of chances to catch them – 9:45 p.m. Friday on the main stage and again at midnight on the indoor stage; 9 p.m. Saturday on the main stage and again at 11 p.m. on the indoor stage; 8:30 p.m. Sunday on the main stage and again at 11 p.m. on the indoor stage.

Born in 1935, D. C. Minner has performed with artists ranging from O. V. Wright, Freddie King, Chuck Berry, Eddie Floyd to Bo Diddley and many more.

In the 1960s, he met Selby, who was working the clubs in Berkeley and San Francisco with Jim Donovan, playing and singing acoustic blues.

The couple have been together ever since, and toured relentlessly for 12 years before settling in D.C. Minner’s birthplace of Rentiesville.

Minner is a member of the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, and most blues musicians have been through Minner’s place at some point.

Photographs of blues legends line the walls, adding authenticity to his place.

Like he needs it.

He is the real deal.

Snorty Horse Saloon gets ready to be ROCKED with ole' FAT DIXIE....

We've really had some good bands through the door lately. I was extremely happy with the Soulidium/Cinder Road show. Cinder Road was impressive to say the least and have a very, very successful future in front of them. They're going to make it big time one of these days; just write it down. Mike was Soulidiums lead man. He had these really weird contact lenses that made him look like a vampire or something and had these fang lookin' things. I had to take a double take the first time I met him and wasn't sure what to think. A few jugar bombs later, Jake and I were teaching him how to blow fire. He turned out to be a great guy and loved our venue as did the rest of the band. Simon Nytes was there with the radio station. He's a crazy sombitch. Be looking for pictures on our myspace page. There were some good ones. There was one picture that was taken that had an image of an old man in the background. Another one had an image of an Indian on the drum riser. Never really thought about this place being haunted, especially not like the old bar, but these pictures will freak you out a little.

John's show was awesome on Friday. The rain obviously kept a bunch of you away from the big concert and we were packed to the gills as a result. I was just really happy with the whole weekend.

September is upon us! That means college is back and the dog days of summer will be short lived. Business is going to be picking up even more and I believe the September Snorty Horse Calendar has the most stellar lineup that has ever been booked in a single month. Let's start with this week's lineup

WED. AUG. 29th: The ERIC TESSMER BAND!

Now I know that this is Cole, Cody, and Hutch night "With the not so special drink special." The two C's and H still might show up, I just wanted to shake it up a little bit. And yes, we will still be serving cheap drinks in a cheap can. The Eric Tessmer Band is an extremely talented blues/rock band based out of Chicago. You know that bar in Chicago that all these Texas acts are playing at called JOE'sthis band is a staple there. These guys are good and Eric is really known for his guitar playing abilities. Might throw a couple of funny guys up on stage also, people seem to like this comedy stuff. $3

THUR. AUG. 30th: COWBOY TOY ROPIN'

and it's Whiskey Night! Still going to be a $5 round robin. I like to give the pot away rather then to give away a buckle. Seems like you guys would rather have the cash anyway. Please call me if your runnin' late so I can get you entered. There is no door fee.

FRI. AUG. 31st: FAT DIXIE!!!

Fat Dixie is actually a combination of two popular bands; one from Oklahoma and one from Texas. The lead singer plays some harmonica and has got a set of pipes. They played here 2 or 3 months ago and myself and my staff loved them. Very entertaining show. They kind of remind me of a tangier version of` ARANDA who damn near won Lollapalooza and will also be here in a few weeks. They do real well in eastern Oklahoma and the Joplin area, so we expect some out of towners. $5

SAT. SEPT. 1st: HAYES CARLL and FRANK SMITH!!!

This is the one you guys have been waiting for. It's been over a year since Hayes has played here. Back then I told you he was tearing it up in Texas and now he's tearing it up everywhere including some overseas tours. He recently got picked up by Lost Highway Records who represent artist such as Ryan Adams and Willy Nelson. The new record should be out next month. Hayes has participated in almost every major music festI was going to say Texasbut this guy is literally everywhere and is probably listed on every music chart available that fits his style. Acoustic shows are what got Hayes popularity, but this show will be a full band, which is killer.

Frank Smith has done great in the North East being though they are from Boston, Mass. but have recently moved to Austin. When I say popular in the North East I mean they were selling out 1500 person room venues. I'm excited because this is a true Indy/Country band. They have also done a lot of shows with Julie Anna Hatfield and we're pretty damn lucky to have them. $12 and tix are available day of the show and table reservations are limited.

Thanks,

Steve Greene

Music captures composer's admiration of settlers' spirit
By Rick Rogers
Fine Arts Editor

On May 11, 1953, Gov. Johnston Murray signed into law a bill that made Rodgers and Hammerstein's "Oklahoma” the official state song. More than a half century later, Oklahoma still enjoys the distinction of being the only state whose official song was taken from a Broadway musical. But what of the 46 years that came before that momentous spring day in 1953?

The Sooner State did have an earlier state song, one titled "Oklahoma, A Toast.” Written by Harriet Parker Camden prior to statehood, "Oklahoma, a Toast” became the official state song March 26, 1935. More recently, another song celebrating the pioneer spirit of Oklahoma's earliest settlers came to light.

Titled simply "Oklahoma,” the song was composed by Harvey Hostetter, a Kansas native who settled in Oklahoma Territory in the years before statehood. Hostetter was teaching in one-room schoolhouses when he wrote the words and music for what would become an unofficial state song.

Hostetter's son Clyde, an Arizona resident who taught journalism at California Polytechnic State University until his retirement in 1983, said that his father composed the song in 1907, in celebration of Oklahoma becoming the 46th state. Newspaper accounts of the day indicate the song was widely performed.

"I've seen clippings that he saved from those days in which the song was sung all over Oklahoma,” Clyde Hostetter said. "Every summer, many of the state's teachers got together for a short course to improve their educational qualities. They probably became aware of the song at one of those sessions and then took it back to their schools. That was how the song got spread around.”

Clyde Hostetter said his father was recognized early on as an accomplished writer, evidence of which is apparent in the scores of poems he wrote throughout his lifetime. In one example titled "Adios?” the elder Hostetter reached the conclusion that at age 78, his working days were over.

"Where things are made in tempered shade / Of factory or shop / Employers say, in their nice way, / At fourscore you should stop. / So I suppose an old man goes / Out to his garden rows / And fights the weeds like evil deeds / Till Gabriel's trumpet blows.”

In another poem titled "My Funeral,” Hostetter ponders his final moments on earth: "When my old body is worn out / And cannot eat or chase about / Please put it back into the soil / From whence it came to live and toil. / With brief delay, put it away / But don't allow yourself to say, ‘That is the last of him!' / But read my rhymes at lonely times / With eyes that are not dim / And do believe as mortals can / There is no death to soul of man!”

Harvey Hostetter's musical training was less well documented, his son said.

"My father was one of those people who saved everything, so I have all sorts of newspaper clippings that offer a glimpse of what life was like in the years preceding and following statehood,” Clyde Hostetter said.

"Somewhere, he learned to play the violin, but he had no formal musical training. And since he only attended school through the fifth grade, he was obviously self-educated.”

While Hostetter wrote the words and music to "Oklahoma,” he received help from Oscar J. Lehrer to create a piano arrangement that could be performed. Lehrer, who collaborated with Hostetter on two other songs, went on to become director of bands at the University of Oklahoma from 1917-26.

Hostetter spent only 10 years in Oklahoma, leaving in 1912 for a job in the Philippines. For the next three years, he worked for the U.S. government expanding the then-new public education program in the Philippines.

Upon his return to the U.S., Hostetter returned to teaching, married and started a family.

"He got a job as missionary to Potawatomi Indians in Kansas, which included teaching agriculture,” Clyde Hostetter said.

"I was born on the reservation in 1925. Later, he was elected clerk of a district court in Kansas. And many years later, he took a job in a Kansas City lapidary. He was 94 years old when he died in 1978.”

Clyde Hostetter said he really didn't get to know his father until after his death. Only then did he discover his father's poems and sheet music in an old tin crackerbox.

The newspaper clippings and letters proved most informative because they filled in some gaps during his father's early years in Oklahoma.

"Here was a 20-year-old kid who came to Oklahoma wanting to be part of a brand-new state,” Clyde Hostetter said.

"I think he wrote the song ‘Oklahoma' because he identified with the whole pioneer spirit of people who were pulling themselves up by their bootstraps. He received letters — most written with pencil on tablet paper — from people who were very appreciative of what he had done.”

Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill among Oklahomans receiving CMA nominations

by: The Tennessean
8/30/2007 1:11 PM

George Strait and Brad Paisley received a field-leading five nominations each for the 41st Annual Country Music Association Awards, which air Nov. 7 on ABC.

Oklahoma-native Carrie Underwood received three nominations, including female vocalist of the year. Other Oklahomans coming in with nominations include Vince Gill, who was nominated for album of the year with "These Days"; Ronnie Dunn of Brooks and Dunn; Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney; and Reba McEntire.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill had the biggest tour in popular music last year, but neither of them received a top entertainer nomination. In fact, Hill joins Oklahoman Toby Keith in the "How could someone that popular get no nominations?" category.

No female artists are up for top entertainer or top album. But the Dixie Chicks are back in the CMA nominations business, vying for vocal group of the year against Alison Krauss and Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas, Emerson Drive, Little Big Town and Rascal Flatts.

The 41st Annual CMA Awards will be broadcast live at 7 p.m. on ABC.

'HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2', TALIB KWELI TOP THE CHARTS
The High School Musical 2 soundtrack continued its reign atop the charts for the second week in a row, selling an additional 367,055 copies, more than six times as many copies as Talib Kweli's Eardrum, the week's number two release. Eardrum sold 60,479 in its first week, which marks a career best for Kweli. For the rest of the charts breakdown, click HERE.

TODAY'S PICKS

DAILY TRACK: Swizz Beatz - "It's Me, Bitches"
On his first solo album, Swizz, who has made beats for Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes and Beyonce, raps with gruff, proficient braggadocio -- in other words, not exactly enough to carry an entire album. But Swizz's skills as a track-builder come through on a handful of hot cuts: "It's Me, Bitches," a club hit built on stutter-step drums and ratchety sound effects, is one of this year's most winning singles. Click HERE for more on One Man Band.

DAILY VIDEO: Rolling Stone Breaking Artist - 1990s

DAILY REVIEW: Matt White - Best Days
On his debut, this former opera student and subway busker updates classic Billy-and-Elton-style Top Forty with Tears for Fears melodrama, Lovin' Spoonful sunshine, even a touch of Freddie Mercury-style falsetto theatrics. Given his professions of love at first sight and breezy come-ons like "I will take a picture so that I can dream of you," White will inevitably get lumped in with heartbreakin', moneymakin' contemporaries such as John Mayer and Adam Levine, but (for better and for worse) he's harder to peg, able to be both heavier and lighter. Click HERE for more on Matt White's album.

TODAY'S TOP ROCK HEADLINES

U2'S NEXT ALBUM IS "MAKING ITSELF," SAYS PRODUCER DANIEL LANOIS
U2 have completed several recording sessions for their next album in Morocco and France with producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, who tells Rolling Stone, "We've been invited as writers this time." For more on the follow-up to 2004's How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and the band's appearance in Lanois' forthcoming documentary, click HERE.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND ANNOUNCE FALL TOUR
Dates for Bruce Springsteen's massive fall tour supporting his October 2nd album Magic - his first trek with the E Street Band in four years - kick off October 2nd in Hartford, Connecticut, and wrap December 19th at London's O2 Arena. Tickets to some U.S. shows go on sale starting September 8th. For a full list of dates and venues and information on where to download Magic's first single, "Radio Nowhere," for free, click HERE.

KANYE WEST UNVEILS 'GRADUATION,' BADMOUTHS ALL-STAR HIP-HOP JAMS
As usual, Kanye West came close to overshadowing his own music as he previewed his new album at a midtown Manhattan movie theater this week: He talked at length after the album played, asserting that Graduation is one of the "top ten" hip-hop albums ever and that he's one of the "top five MCs" of all time. When asked what it felt like to be onstage with Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Diddy and T.I. at New York's Screamfest concert last week, West said "it would have felt better to hit the stage with me and Jay like we planned." For more from the event, and to find out how West was inspired by U2, click HERE.

NEW MUSIC TUESDAYS: BEN HARPER AND THE INNOCENT CRIMINALS' 'LIFELINE'
Rolling Stone's Joe Levy devotes this week's entire new-release video review to Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals' latest album, Lifeline, focusing on the way Harper and Co. recorded the album (the old-fashioned way, White Stripes-style) and its resemblance to Tom Petty's work. Click HERE to watch the entire video review, which includes clips from the album's "In the Colors."

THE KILLERS RECORDING DUET WITH LOU REED
The Killers' next release is a B-sides compilation, however bassist Mark Stoermer has revealed that the album will also include never-before-recorded songs written during the sessions for last year's Sam's Town, one of which is a duet with Lou Reed. Click HERE to find out more about the collaboration.

DAILY TRACK: Manu Chao - "Rainin in Paradize"
The attention getter from Manu Chao's latest album, La Radiolina - especially in Anglophone America - will be "Rainin in Paradize," which curtly explains why country after country in Africa and the Middle East is "no good place to be." Click HERE for more on La Radiolina.

DAILY VIDEO: Ryan Adams - "Amy"

DAILY REVIEW: Rilo Kiley - Under the Blacklight
Because Rilo Kiley's More Adventurous was a triumph of the well-made narrative song, its markedly terser and beatier follow-up, which is also the band's true major-label debut, will be accused of sellout. Instead, it's yet more adventurous, a prosperous band's challenge to its comfortable cult. Click HERE for more on the latest Rilo Kiley album.

TODAY'S TOP ROCK HEADLINES

EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: BEN HARPER UNPLUGGED AND OFF-THE-CUFF
In the latest issue of Rolling Stone, associate editor Austin Scaggs profiles singer/guitarist Ben Harper as Harper records his latest album, Lifeline, in Paris. Click HERE to watch video of Harper talking about creating that record and being interviewed by Scaggs, as well as footage of him performing an acoustic version of "Steal My Kisses" and click HERE to watch Joe Levy review Lifeline in the latest episode of New Music Tuesdays.

SMASHING PUMPKINS, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, FALL OUT BOY STORM THE U.K. FOR READING AND LEEDS FESTIVALS
Over this past weekend, two of the U.K.'s top festivals, Reading and Leeds, overtook the English countryside as acts like Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco and dozens of British buzz bands took the stage to more than 150,000 people total. Standout moments came courtesy of Billy Corgan (an acoustic rendition of "1979") and Fall Out Boy (covering Michael Jackson's "Beat It"). Click HERE for more on the shows, and to see photos of all of the key moments.

ROCK BLOGGIN': JACK WHITE CHATS ABOUT NEW RACONTEURS ALBUM ON MYSPACE
In typically odd fashion, Jack White and Raconteurs partner Brendan Benson took to their MySpace blog to discuss the future of their project. The pair revealed they've recorded "a lot of new songs," but are hesitant to describe them. Click HERE to read their cryptic conversation in full.

BRITNEY SPEARS' BIG VMAS COMEBACK APPEARS TO BE A GO
Rumors of Britney Spears' comeback gig at this year's Video Music Awards on September 9th appear to be correct: The newest reports indicate Spears' latest male companion is a choreographer who is helping the troubled star plan her big return to the stage. Click HERE for full details.

THE PHIL SPECTOR TRIAL: MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS AS PROCEEDINGS NEAR THEIR END
Yesterday brought an unexpected turn of events in Phil Spector's murder trial: Spector's lead lawyer, Bruce Cutler, left the defense team due to "a difference of opinion concerning the summations of the trial." Though Cutler's method of questioning witnesses have previously rubbed both judge and jury the wrong way, it was assumed Cutler would deliver the defense's closing statement. For what this means for Spector and all the latest trial news, click HERE.

DAILY TRACK: Northern State - "Run Off the Road"
The trio of Long Island natives continues to build a career on the concept of a female take of Licensed to Ill ("The Three Amigas" is a near replica of "Paul Revere"), but three albums in, the shtick wears thin. Thankfully, the three add more singing and guitars here and come up with some genuine gems like "Run Off the Road," on which they take a turn toward Check Your Head and play their own instruments. Click HERE for more on Northern State's latest album.

DAILY REVIEW: Caribou - Andorra
With every album Ontario-born studio whiz-kid Dan Snaith releases, he moves further from the mathy electro-hop he pioneered as the one-man band Manitoba, and closer to the shambling psychedelic orchestra he has developed under the moniker Caribou. Click HERE for more on the latest Caribou album.

Johnny Cooper

GREETINGS, FOLKS!

It never hurts to start the week off with your photo on the front page of the local paper...and especially when there is no mention of any legal action?...whew!

http://web.timesrecordnews.com/pdf/TX_TRN.pdf

A week later and another 1,000 miles and those white stripes just keep flying by!!! Thanks to John Wolfe in Vernon and the folks at Wolfe Ford/Dodge, we are in our second Ford E-350 van and road worthy again!

MUSIC CHARTS: Yes, you've done it again...Johnny's new single smashed through into the TOP 10 on the Texas Music Charts this week at the #8 slot, thanks to our never-sleeping radio promoters and YOU, the fans who request our music! Look out Pat Green, Dierks Bentley, Wade Bowen, Miranda Lambert and Jack Ingram! We're looking to climb up a few slots, so don't flinch...ha!

www.texasmusicchart.com

This is our second visit inside the Top 10...so with a little help from everybody, we might work some nerves? Don't let up on those request lines...and, THANK YOU!!!

ROAD WARRIORS: Last week started off in Denton on Tuesday night for the North Texas State Fair...nothing like setting a new attendance record for Tuesday night at the NTSF...thanks to all of you who made the show. The performance was so "hot" that the breaker panel caught fire, but a quick-thinking Charlie and a burst from an extinguisher...plus a new fuse...got the show rolling again!

Thursday was marathon-day with a drive from WF to The Ranch in Midland and then after the show, an 8 hour drive back north to Stillwater. Thanks to the club staff, production crew and KNFM in Midland for a great night.

After an all night drive and 12 noon arrival in Stillwater, we loaded equipment into the building "in the rain" and Johnny and Brandon Jenkins had to take their show indoors at Tumbleweeds for College Fest. The rain finally stopped and Micky and the Motorcars and Kevin Fowler were able to get their shows in outdoors for day nu
