Different Roads: call for CDs

Just a reminder, folks, that the new "Different Roads" comes to KCSC Saturdays, 5-7 p.m., starting in April. First broadcast is April 7.

Any local musicians who have CDs available: I'd love to play your stuff on the new show! If you can spare a copy, please send in care of:

Singer/songwriters, bluegrass, old-time stringband, Celtic, acoustic blues, early music, acoustic new age, classical, world music...it'll all be part of the mix. I'll be posting playlists each week on the program's own website, www.differentroads. org, and will always include a link to performer websites when I play your music.

I'm planning on working several weeks ahead in getting the shows together...I do have a different "day job" now, after all...

For those of you who aren't sure if you've sent me your recorded work in the past, just drop me an e-mail and check with me. If I already have your CD, I'll let you know and you can save the extra postage.

Please spread the word about the return of the program. For your music friends in other markets, KCSC does stream audio, so the show can be heard online at www.kcscfm.com. (For that matter, musical friends in other areas are welcome to send their own CDs as well.)
