The Red River Mudcats to Perform CD Release Show at Hills Cafe in Austin

New Single “Texas Eagle” Featuring Jason Boland Climbing Texas Radio Charts 

NASHVILLE, TN (October 14, 2009) – The Red River Mudcats with Liz Calender, the hottest new band to come out of the Texas-Oklahoma “Red Dirt” music scene, will perform in Austin this Friday, October 16 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., at the Hills Café, 4700 S Congress.

The free concert event will mark the band’s Austin CD Premier and Release Party. There will be FREE CD download cards for the first 25 people, meet-and-greet with the band, free merchandise and giveaways throughout the show.

The Red River Mudcats are currently climbing the Texas music charts with their latest Cimsound Records single,“Texas Eagle,”featuring the guest vocals of Red Dirt star,Jason Boland.

The Red River Mudcats feature the soulful and sultry vocals of Texas singer songwriter Liz Calendar (longtimefeatured artist with the house bands at Cowboys Dance Halls in Dallas and Arlington), and hot Okie guitarist, songwriter, producer Jeffrey Parker with a smokin’ rhythm section. Their high-intensity show consists of fiery Country-Rock and Red-Dirt music.
