We have a New Orleans drummer who has performed with the Neville Bros. and many other greats. Ricky Caesar will be with us on the drums this weekend as well as some other shows in the future. He is one of the funkiest drummers on the planet. Below is a little bit about Ricky.

Out of the first family of funk came a group called the Def Generation

formed in 1989. The Caesar brothers are the keepers of the uptown funk. They

grew up in the church singing in the choir and marching in the bands. The

Caesar brothers have work with George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic,

The Meters, The Neville Brothers, Tina Marie, Franky Beverly and Maze to

name a few. You're in for a party and a lot of New Orleans traditional music

bringing the sound and culture of the Mardi gras Indians to the world.

Ricky of the Caesar Brothers Funk Box has been

performing with Cyril Neville for over 15 years.
