The latest issue of Cosmopolitan magazine finds country music starlet Carrie Underwood splashed onto its glossy cover wearing a black-and-white frock, and sporting a high-wattage, toothy grin.
To attract eyes inside the magazine, Cosmo boasts readers will discover "the side you've never seen before" of the Checotah native.
It's a side, however, that Underwood fans know all too well. After all, diehard fans know Underwood's still a down-to-earth girl despite hurtling through a roller coaster career, which could easily have jaded the young singer.
"It all seems like a crazy dream," the 24-year-old said of her post-"American Idol" days in the Cosmo interview.
The story goes on to explain that Underwood occasionally hits a Nashville night spot, but she also enjoys settling down at home with her dog to enjoy a life more-ordinary.
Oh, and despite rumors to the contrary, Underwood explained she and Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo are not an item.
Actually, Underwood said her college sweetheart Drake Clark was her last serious boyfriend.
As for attaining her lithe figure since her less-lithe "American Idol" days, Underwood said, "I might feel guilty if I eat a pizza. But I've tried to be healthy and exercise as much as I can. If that's made me lose weight, I guess I needed to."
Towards the end of the relatively short piece, Underwood said life, even one as fairy tale-fantastic as her's, would be even better if she had "someone other than my mom to call when I have good news."
Rest assured there's still plenty of good news left to herald in this cover girl's life.
