Summer concerts begin Thursday

CHOCTAW — The first concert in the summer series will be Thursday in Choctaw Creek Park featuring Pinky and the SnakeShakers. The gates open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. The main performers will take the stage about 7 p.m. Lawn chairs, picnic baskets and coolers are welcome. Glass bottles are not allowed.
