Songwriting contest seeks applicants

Billboard Magazine and Casio America Inc. are partnering to search for the world’s most aspiring songwriters in the 15th Annual Billboard World Song Contest.

Original songs can be entered to win through Nov. 15 – contest entrants don’t need to have perfect pitch or be a soaring soprano to enter.

Grand prize winners also will receive Casio WK-3300 keyboards. Winners in each of the 11 categories will be announced in January.
