Art for Your Ears songwriter concert series at

Wichita State University 7-9pm, free

Stage is at The McKnight Arts Center Plaza

... on the lawn next to The Ulrich Art Museum

The Art Museum and WSU are sponsoring these concerts and have told me that themuseum will open at 6pm,

I believe, for you to take a walk through. Lovely museum and gracious curators... who are the 'most hosts.' (grin)

What to bring:

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets... coolers, picnic baskets! I'll have cds, Don Morris will have cds, Jared Tyler will have cds... and soon- thanks to these two fellers-I'll have brand new cd! Probably in October!

Lodging:

If you would like to travel to Wichita, for the show I can vouch for The Old Towne Hotelright in the heart of 'Old Town,' a great place for food and music after the WSU concert. A great breakfast buffet comes with the lovely room...

Another great place is the historic The Broadview Hotel on the Arakansas River. It is a wonderful place to stay... great breakfast, too.

I will say that The Larkspur is a fine dining establishment there in Old Town... and Old Chicago's is right there, too... great pizza and such!

we MIGHT even have a guest or two from my Cherokee Maiden & Sycamore Swing band that is based out of Wichita? Robin & Kenny won't be there... travelling in CO and NM, though.
