State Historic Preservation Office Seeks Input for FY2010

On Friday, September 11, 2009 the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) staff will conduct its annual public meeting to receive your comments and suggestions for the FY 2010 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) Grant Application to the U.S. Department of the Interior. The meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Oklahoma History Center Classroom, 2401 N. Laird Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

The SHPO will receive approximately $750,000 from the HPF for the continued operation of its programs and will develop its FY 2010 work program based on the goals and objectives set forth in Tomorrow’s Legacy: Oklahoma’s Statewide Historic Preservation Plan.

If you are unable to attend the September 11th meeting, but would like to offer comments or project suggestions, submit a Project Suggestion Form (select "Events") to the SHPO by 5:00pm, September 11th. Hard copies of the form or the State Plan are available from the SHPO at 405/521-6249 or mheisch@okhistory.org.
