The Red River Mudcats to Perform CD Release Show in Stillwater, OK

NASHVILLE, TN (January 7th, 2010) – The Red River Mudcats with Stillwater Red Dirt Native Jeff Parker & Dallas Texas native Liz Calender, the hottest new band to come out of the Texas-Oklahoma "Red Dirt" music scene, will perform in Stillwater this Friday, January 8th - 10:00 p.m., at the Cross Eyed Cricket Saloon, 412 South Washington Street. Enjoy some great Red Dirt Music, meet-and-greet with the band, free merchandise and giveaways throughout the show.
The Red River Mudcats climbed the Texas music charts to the Top 40 with their Cimsound Records single, "Texas Eagle," featuring the guest vocals of Red Dirt star, Jason Boland. And the new single release is scheduled for 2/10!
The Red River Mudcats feature the soulful and sultry vocals of Texas singer/songwriter Liz Calendar (longtime featured artist with the house bands at Cowboys Dance Halls in Dallas and Arlington), and hot Okie guitarist, songwriter, producer Jeffrey Parker with a smokin' rhythm section. Their show features Americana Roots-Rock. Southern-fried Country Rock, Red Dirt, and fiery Texas Blues Rock.
