CCR's 4th Annual Red Dirt Roundup Will Rock Stockyards Sunday, Sept 6

FORT WORTH STOCKYARDS, TEXAS (September 2, 2009) - Cross Canadian Ragweed's 4th annual RED DIRT ROUNDUP returns to the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, Labor Day weekend, Sunday, September 6th. The "North Forty" field, just east of Billy Bob’s Texas, formerly cattle pens, will be transformed into an all day concert venue.

A mixture of Red Dirt Country and alternative rock, the bands performing at the 2009 Red Dirt Roundup include Cross Canadian Ragweed, The Wallflowers featuring Jakob Dylan, Robert Earl Keen, The Randy Rogers Band, Jonathan Tyler, Johnny Cooper, and more! There will be two stages of continuous entertainment, and the festival will allow concert goers to enjoy restaurants and shops in the historic stockyards district. About Cross Canadian Ragweed: Grady Cross, Cody Canada, Randy Ragsdale and Jeremy Plato have known each other since kindergarten in the band's hometown of Yukon, OK. The band has been a force on the alt-country scene since 1998. Their last 2 albums have hit the Billboard top 200 list.
