From Jason Boland's Mom...
I would try to let you know about Jason.
He has a blood filled polyp on his right vocal cord and has seen a specialist at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He is in the best hands possible.
He returns to Nashville after 2 weeks of medication and complete vocal rest (no talking which is very hard for Jason since he is a very vocal person.)
Please keep Jason and the Boys in your thoghts and prayers.
Kathy B.
PS. I just wanted to let you know about Comal County Blue. As a rule I (I usually get something messed up) hate to brag about Jason (although I am very proud of him.)
He knows that I am an anti-radio or any music in the car (crazy I know) but I had a rough cut copy of the new cd from Jason and listened to it on a long trip by myself. It is amazing, it is the only cd or music that I feel like I have to have it on when I am in the car. If I am in a car that does not have the cd I have it playing in my head. For those of you that love Jason's writing you will fall in love with this cd. It Is Jason!!! For the ones that download from ITunes there are 2 bonus tracks. Both are wonderful. His Bob Childers Tune (he always puts a Childers tune on his cd's) is Outlaw Band it is the best Childer's tune I have ever heard. It kinda tells a part of Bob's life story, which is good to hear so soon after his passing.....For those of you who purchase by ITunes, CD, or they also have a Vinyl record (I think thats right) Anyway if you like Jason's music you will love this cd. I think it is their best ever....
Sorry this is so long and rambling but since not many messages have gone out on this egroup I thought you would not mind...Kathy B.
