JACKSON TAYLOR

######################################################

JACKSON TAYLOR'S "OUTLAW WOMEN" IS TOPPING THE TEXAS MUSIC CHARTS.

After many years of touring and hardships, country artist JACKSON TAYLOR could finally get his day.

(Austin, Texas)---July 15, 2008--After a decade of decadence, hard lessons learned and a new attitude on life, country music artist, Jackson Taylor is topping the Texas Music Chart this month with his swinging smash hit "Outlaw Women". The second single from the critically acclaimed 2008 album, Dark Days (Smith Music) has rewardingly paid off for the fresh faced veteran after years of building solid fan bases on the road, accompanied by a strong grassroots promotion that included endless concert dates, radio tours, a hot new video and creative promotional ideas like giving away radio callers the country singer's own Jackson Taylor's Outlaw Salsa. "Outlaw Women" is currently at #3 on the Texas Music Chart and some of country music's best known and respected DJ's are rooting for the single to hit the top spot.

"Jackson Taylor brings a much needed sound to our radio stations and shows" comments JB Cloud, Program Director at KBCY/Abilene Texas. "Hey folks, let's get this kid a #1....not for just Jackson, but for all of us. I swear, if Jackson goes #1, I'll either get a Jackson Taylor tattoo or a belly ring....his choice. (Ha. Ha. Ha.)"

Scotty Preston, Program Director at KOLI/Wichita Falls, Texas seconds that motion by proclaiming, "Jackson is the 'real deal'!!! If "Outlaw Women" goes number one, I'LL get a nipple ring. (OUCH)."

Jackson Taylor, who will remain on the road for the rest of the year (and is exclusively being booked by Jon Folk at Buddy Lee Attractions) is the most grateful of all for the charts positioning. "For over 6 years, I was that artist that traveled around the country in a broken down van, without air conditioning or heating, played any place that would have me and sell my CDs out of the back of my van...but learning as I grew as an artist. Please know that none of this would be true if it was not for each and everyone of you supporting my music. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
