ROD STEWART MARRIES FOR THE THIRD TIME Rod Stewart married his model girlfriend, Penny Lancaster, over the weekend on the Italian Riviera. The private ceremony, which was attended only by close friends and family, took place at a local villa.

RADIOHEAD REVEAL BITS OF NEW MATERIAL Following the announcement that they are "nearly there" regarding the completion of their new album, Radiohead posted a sneak preview of the material on their blog over the weekend. High temperatures also sent jazz musician Ornette Coleman to the hospital after he collapsed on stage from heat stroke. LOU PEARLMAN BUSTED Lou Pearlman, the mastermind behind 'N Sync and the Backstreet Boys, was arrested late last week in Bali. Pearlman had fled the U.S. after the FBI alleged he conned investors in a Ponzi Scheme, and was remanded to Guam today pending his transfer back to Florida.

LILY ALLEN RANTS AT THE MEDIA Lily Allen, known for her rant-filled MySpace blog posts, lashed out at the media in a recent entry. Allen accused the press of being overly critical of her life and taking her writings out of context.
