Catch the Fever Festival Grounds are dry and ready for the fans of Rocklahoma

PRYOR, OK - Despite reports of record flooding in Oklahoma, the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds are dry and ready for the fans of Rocklahoma, the biggest 80's rock concert of its kind every to be orchestrated, according to Mark Nuessle, General Manager of Catch the Fever Music Festivals.

"Thanks to the great efforts of Dave Giencke, Director of Operations for Catch the Fever Music Festivals, and his staff in preparing the site, it is in perfect condition for the thousands of fans converging into Oklahoma," said Nuessle.

One change in Thursday's line-up has been announced because of unforeseen circumstances. Tiger Tailz has been replaced by Lillian Axe.

Organizers want to remind Rocklahoma fans that advanced tickets to this historical event will remain at the lower prices. Gate prices for General Admission Tickeets will be $60 per day or $130 for all three days..

Rocklahoma is an official event of the Oklahoma Centennial. Tickets have been sold in all 50 United States and in six continents. Although tickets have been grabbed up by fans, great seats are still available. Fans planning to attend should buy their tickets before Rocklahoma begins.

"Rocklahoma and Oklahoma have become THE destination for people worldwide because of this historic concert," Nuessle said. "Rocklahoma has brought together people from throughout the world. We've never seen anything like this. It is, in fact, historical in the greatest sense. And what better time than during Oklahoma's 100th birthday?"

Rocklahoma's popularity has grown since its announcement in late March, that is grew to four days rather than the original three days. Putting Pryor, Oklahoma's, Catch the Fever grounds on the map across the world, Rocklahoma is on the cusp of making rock ‘n' roll history.

ROCKLAHOMA, an official Oklahoma Centennial event presented by Rock Fever and Miller Lite, will be held July 12-15, 2007, at the Catch the Fever Festival Grounds four miles north of Pryor, OK just off highway 69

There are still thousands of hotel rooms within thirty five minutes of the festival site in Tulsa and surrounding areas. For a nominal fee, people are encouraged to camp just a short walk from the festival site.
