Ghost of Monkshood releases new single

On August 8th Ghost of Monkshood will be releasing "Sad or Happy", a single from their upcoming album. Advance preview copies will be available at their showcase at Diversafest in Tulsa, OK on July 27th.

This follow-up to their 2005 album "Spider Through the Fog" finds the group more confident and mature with their genre-defying style, creating an enticing, colorful dreamscape of delicate hooks and intricate rhythms that rests comfortably on the ears and will have you craving a cozy chair, a cup of tea and a pair of headphones.

The single "Sad or Happy" is a galloping self-analysis which gives way to hopes for balance.

It is accompanied by "The Longest Night of My Childhood", an instrumental soundtrack to a child's sleepless night which he spends pondering the concept of infinity for the first time, and "Silverleaf"

a softly throbbing dream tour through one's life into the questionable outcome of the human race. All tracks were recorded and produced by Ghost of Monkshood who are currently seeking label representation.
