TODAY'S TOP ROCK HEADLINES

LAKISHA BOOTED FROM IDOL
LaKisha Jones was sent packing on Wednesday's show. Jones, whose rendition of "And I Am Telling You, I Am Not Going" from "Dream Girls" had her as an early favorite, faltered in recent weeks and failed to make a strong comeback. Stay tuned to Rock and Roll Daily for more "Idol" commentary...
AUSTIN CITY LIMITS LINEUP ANNOUNCED
The last major music festival of the summer season has revealed that 2007's headliners will be Bob Dylan, Bjork and The White Stripes. Other performers include Muse, Amy Winehouse and Peter, Bjorn and John. The festival takes place September 14-16 in Austin, Tx.
*NSYNC SUED FOR $10 MILLION
A lawsuit filed yesterday accuses the boy-band and their label, Jive Records, of ripping off a song by an unknown singer-songwriter. The artist, Troy Alexander, claims *NSYNC's 2001 hit "Celebrity" is "substantially similar" to the demo track he played in 1990 for the label. Jive says they were unaware of the claim and have not been served any papers.
GREEN DAY JOINS "THE SIMPSONS"
A Green Day cameo is confirmed for "The Simpsons Movie," slated to hit theaters July 27. Check out Rock Daily to see the band's blink-and-you-miss-it appearance on a capsizing stage in the movie's trailer.
JANN WENNER TO APPEAR ON COLBERT REPORT
Stephen Colbert welcomes Rolling Stone's founder and Editor-in-Chief Jann Wenner to The Colbert Report tonight at 11:30PM EST. Tune in to Comedy Central to see Wenner and Colbert chat about the baby boomer generation and more.
