Mama Sweet....

We are off the next two weekends, so I thought now would be a good time to talk about what else is coming up.

Tuesday, May 6th, The Deli (Acoustic), Norman, OK
Alan and I will be doing our two man acoustic show. It will be a great time to take a break from finals, listen to some of our new stuff, and hear some covers that we never do as a full band.

Tuesday, May 13th, Mr. Bill's, Norman, OK
This is a Livestrong (you know Lance Armstrong and the yellow bracelets) Jam featuring us, Eclectic Groove, Resident Funk, and Camille Harp. All proceeds will go towards cancer research. For the record, let me also clarify that neither I nor anyone in my band has cancer. This Jam was put together by our dear friend Kerry Anger, who is suffering from a rare form of cancer. After being treated at the Mayo Clinic, however, Kerry sees light at the end of the tunnel. So, please come out and help us earn some money for this great cause.

Saturday, May 17th, Momo's, Austin, TX
Yep, we are finally headed down to Austin. We will be playing Momo's on 6th street from 12:30am to close. I hope that all our friends who have relocated down south will come and join us from an incredible night. (Don't forget to tell them at the door that you are there to see Mama Sweet!)

Friday, May 23rd, Cain's, Tulsa, OK
Yes, we headed back to Tulsa and the one and only. . . Cain's! The word "Cain's" really says it all, doesn't it?

Saturday, May 24, T-Bones, Denison, TX
This is our first time to play T-Bones, but we are excited to try a new venue and a new town in Texas. If you are in the area, come a join us.

Well, that's enough for now. As always, there will be more to come. Keep checking the website, mamasweet.com, and I hope to see you soon.
