Carter Sampson's new CD is on track for a Nov. 15th Release, Congrats Carter!

WOODY AWARD WINNER TO RELEASE THIRD RECORD NOV. 15th

Carter Sampson’s long awaited new record “Good for the Meantime” is due for release November 15th. This is the Oklahoma City based singer songwriters third album. The CD Release Party will be held at Galileo Bar and Grill located at 3009 Paseo in Oklahoma City.

“Good for the Meantime” was recorded in Norman, OK by Travis Linville of Dirty Bird Studios. Carter wrote and performed all songs on the new record. “I had a lot of really great local musicians play on this CD too.” Giovanni “Nooch” Carnnccio (drummer for Norman based Mama Sweet) played drums along with John Fullbright (Okemah), Joe Mack(Tahlequah) and Travis Linville(Norman) playing guitars, bass, organ and more.

Carter Sampson has been playing around OKC for the last 10 years. She is now touring out of state to promote her new CD. It has been four years since she released her last album “Fly over the Moon.” Carter and Travis have been working on “Good for the Meantime” for the last year to get the perfect sound out of it.
