Susan Herndon

Greetings!

Here's where we're playing this month...

If it keeps on raining, we'll be by to pick you up in the Ark!

Most importantly, this Sunday's Mother's Day Benefit for Lacey and

the Okemah Historical Society.

Mother's Day Brunch at the Ale Haus beforehand.

xxooo

***********************************************************

Lola's at the Bowery. (Main & Brady, downtown Tulsa.) Friday, 1 & 15 May, 7-10 pm.

With the band. Let me just say it again... "Girls will be boys and boys will be girls It's a mixed up

muddled up shook up world except for Lola Lo-lo-lo-lo-Lola!" And you'll see-- it's the place to be!

Ale Haus European Pub. (Riverwalk Crossing, Jenks, OK.) Saturday, 2, 16 & 23 May, 6:30 pm.

Tuesday, 12 May 6:00 pm with the band. It's gloriously European, only it's right on the Arkansas River and in Jenks.

So there's not the hassle of people speaking in foreign tongues or driving on the wrong side of the street...

Benefit for the Flash Family and the Okemah Historical Society.

(Brickstreet Cafe, Downtown Okemah, OK.) Sunday, 10 May, 2-10 pm.

This is a Mother's Day event benefiting the History Center and this family's dear momma, Lacey, who,

having had a recent heart transplant, is back in the hospital. We've been trying to have this for months,

and now it's finally on. Please come, too, bring your momma and all the family!

With Randy Crouch, Red Dirt Rangers, John Fullbright, Tom Skinner's Science Project, Turnpike

Troubadours, myself, and many others. Silent Auction and Bake Sale and more!

TK's 2. (Riverwalk Crossing, Jenks, OK.) Thursday, 14 May, 6 pm.

Ah, the exotic and peaceful TK's2. Great friends, great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, great goodness.

Mayfest International Arts Festival. (4th and Boston Stage, Tulsa.) Friday, 15 May, 5:30 pm.

With the band. It's that time of year again! Art, Music, Festivities, Funnel Cakes, Velvet Elvis, Flowering Onions,

Flamingo Mojitos, Temporary Tattoos, and Sallyjane's sweet wonderful earrings and things.

(...okay, okay, i don't really know if they have a Velvet Elvis stand...) www.tulsamayfest.org

Grape Ranch Winery. (6 miles south of I-40 and Okemah, OK.) Sunday, 17 May, 2 pm.

Singer/songwriter series at my home away from home. If you come early, I will have had 2 fewer

Frozen Rose (Wine Koolies) and the songs will be less slippery. www.graperanch.com

The Canebrake. (33241 East 732nd Road, Wagoner, OK.) Wednesday, 20 May, 7 pm.

With the band. A great little secret get-away, that's becoming less and less a secret as we

Oklahomans are becoming more and more healthy and aware. Out there in the middle of nowhere--

a yoga retreat, fine dining, cabin-lakeside adventure! With Music too! www.thecanebrake.com

Big Fish. (414 South Main, Grapevine, Texas.) Saturday, 30 May & 3 June, 7 pm.

Fortunately, it's a big world and there's a big ocean to accomodate the big fish.

Sometimes there's a special guest, an even bigger fish, if you will! Always great seeing our

good D/FW area friends and family-- you know who you are, and i miss you when you can't make it!
