Susan Herndon

Greetings~

The ice and snow are finally melting, the icicles are breaking off the gutters...
the roads are ready to receive our restless souls after having been cooped up for days...
and the Grammys are, at long last, over!   Surely Spring is on its way.

February brings a special return to Rick's Cafe on Tuesday evenings!

A cozy house concert in Northeastern Oklahoma.

Singer-Songwrtier Night at Crow Creek Tavern this month...

A handful of brand new songs, a trip to Memphis, and  more-- see below.

So hope to see you!

xxooo

Rick's Cafe Americain.  (31st and Harvard, Tulsa.)  Tuesday, 2, 9, 23 February, 6:30 pm.
Happy to be back at one of my favorite places on Earth.  Practicing a special trapeze show for this performance... i will be dressed in a thread, dripping wet, twirling, while playing my guitar and singing, "Dancing on a Trapeze"   (Note, the new location.  Not to be missed!)

Crow Creek Tavern.  (34th and Peoria, Tulsa.)  Tuesday, 2 February, 8:30 pm.
Just one Singer-Songwriter Night Musician Jam that I'll be hosting this month.  New songs each time, new singer-songwriters.  Great musicians.  Fun for all!  Surprise appearance by Lady WaWa.

French Hen.  (71st and Yale, Tulsa.)  Saturday, 6 & 13 February, 7 pm.  Si speciale, La Poule Francaise!  I may never move to Texas, if they keep inviting me to play here...

Cedar Ridge.  (103rd and Garnett, Broken Arrow.)  Sunday, 14 February, 6 pm.  Valentine's Day!  It may cost an arm and a leg to attend, and a review before the Country Club board, but well worth it, I'm sure...

International Folk Alliance.  (250 North Main Street, Memphis, TN.)  Wednesday-Saturday, 17-20, February.   Music and song all day and all night long.  We have a few seats left in our carload-full driving out to Memphis.  You come, too!

Hickory Creek House Concert.  (HW 33 & the Illinios River, Oklahoma.)  Saturday, 27 February, 7 pm.  There's already been a request to hear the song, 'Highway 33 (Home)', for obvious reasons... This will be a special concert, in a listening room.  For information regarding location and reservations, go to:  http://www.hickorytreehouse.com/

Grape Ranch.  (6 miles south of Okemah off I-40.)  Sunday, 28 February, 1 pm.  What a great gift the Grape Ranch folks provide for Oklahoma each Saturday and Sunday, and every weekend with their Singer-Songwriter series.   And in such a beautiful setting.  If you've never been-- COME ON!
