Sugar Free Allstars

The Sugar Free Allstars’ kid’s CD, Dos Ninos, has made it into the top 15 “Best Music of 2007 for Kids and Families” awards list put out by Fids and Kamily (www.fidsandkamily.blogspot.com). The 19 contributing judges, consisting of writers, radio programmers, and others involved in the music industry, ranked their top 10 albums in regard to the best music for kids and families released (or re-released) in the past year (Nov. 1, '06 - Oct. 31, '07). After the lists were combined Dos Ninos came out at #11. In addition the song “Bathtub Boy” from the CD is still in the XMKiDS’ (XM Radio channel 116) top 13 charts for the 13th week.

In related news, SFA’s previous album Return of Dos Machos has been in the Jambands.com top 30 radio charts for 3 months, and is currently also at #11. The charts are determined by reporting stations from across the country that have programs dedicated to music in the jam band genre.

The Sugar Free Allstars will be doing their kids show at 2pm on Sunday, December 2nd at the Edmond Public Library and will be a part of the Yippe Yi Yo show (www.yyyshow.com) at the City Arts Center Theatre on the State Fairgrounds on Saturday, December 15th. They will be playing an “adult” show on Saturday, December 21st at the Blue Note in Oklahoma City. For more information contact Chris Wiser at chris@sugarfreeallstars.com.
