10/15/07 House concert Norman OK

We were hoping to show up in person with details about the Bill Barwick house concert, but the change in date caught us off guard. Unfortunately, we'll be in extreme western Oklahoma on Sat. 10/13, so here's the info:

Bill Barwick (vocals) & his bass player, Steve McCartney, will give a concert at our house in Norman, as follows:

Date: Monday, Oct. 15
Time: 7 pm (so you can still get some sleep afterwards)
Goodies: light refreshments provided
Donation: $12 requested (so they can recover travel costs)

Directions: From I-35, take the Hwy-9 exit east (toward OU).
At the 3rd traffic light (Imhoff) turn LEFT.
Take the first left off Imhoff (Poplar). If you get to the stop sign, you've gone too far.
Take the first left off Poplar (Aspen LANE)--you're almost here.
Then take the first RIGHT--that's Aspen CIRCLE.
We're the grey house at the far end.

Please enter through the garage--the "stage" is our front hall.

Bill Barwick is a really good singer-songwriter & entertainer, with songs about life & love in the American West.
His album, "Cowboy Bill & Other Stories" was nominated Best Western Music Album/CD of the Year
by the Academy of Western Artists, 2007. He's a Winfield regular.
