Hank Williams - Reinhard Matthes sent this to us.... if you love the orginal Master.... this is for you!

Hank Williams was born September 17, 1923

For his birthday here are two commercial music shows of 30 minutes each, sponsored by
Martha White´s Quick Fortune Chicken Feed and other products like rising flour etc.
The shows were broadcast live by WSM from the Ryman auditorium in Nashville/TN
some time in May or June 1952. The recordings were recovered from WSM archives 55 years later.

I´d digital remastered them. The sound quality is now very remarkable.

Starring on Show one:
Carl Smith, Ray Price, June and Anita Carter, The Jordanaires and others.
Introduced by Grant Turner as Special Guest is Hank Williams.
He performs Long Gone Lonesome Blues and Window Shopping.

And on Show two: Ernest Tubb, the Carter Family, Bill Monroe,
Chet Atkins, and, again Hank Williams as Special Guest,
performing Jambalaya as well as Honky Tonkin´in a different way as heard before.
