Brandon Jenkins Band RIP Uncle Stoney One of our good friends Uncle Stoney was killed in a car wreck on the way to Steamboat. He was a kind soul and will be missed.... Happy Two Thousand Great! So far so good, just got back from a 2 week run with my buddy Stoney Larue. We started things off at The Wormy Dog in OKC where I sat in on Stoney's New Years Eve show, it was awesome, not only because it was a sold out show, but also because I got to be a sideman, playing guitar and the occasional back up vocals, pretty cool. The next night was the hangover ball, and it was just mayhem all over again, the show was great, but the after party was exceptional, hanging with all my good musician buddies. The cool thing was, we just kept partying with a 5 bus convoy(Cross Candian Ragweed, Jason Boland, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, and Stoney Larue) all the way to Denver, everyone changing busses when we hit a truck stop, pure insanity. Stoney and I followed CCR up to Aspen and sat in on the show there, then followed them back to The Grizzly Rose in Denver and did it again. Considering Steamboat hadn't even started yet, WOW.
