WAKA WINTER CLASSIC CONTINUES

Wakarusa is a festival that has been created for music fans by music fans. One of our passions is finding and presenting talented musicians and bands that you might not yet have heard. During the months of January and February the Waka Winter Classic visits 20 cities throughout the Midwest. At each stop along the way we host a talent showcase in which the best regional bands perform. We then ask YOU to tell us who you think needs to come and play at the festival.

For a complete list of tour stops and bands that are performing each night please check out www.wakawinterclassic.com. Come on out to support your local live music scene. By doing so you get to vote for your favorite band and also help us book the festival!

HUMAN RIGHTS AWARENESS TOUR

Wakarusa is pleased to announce we will be hosting the Human Rights Awarenes Tour at our event this year. This is an amazing assembly of individuals dedicated to making the world a better place. Some of the special offerings included in the tour this year will be a No Sweat Fashion Show, The Fair Trade booth, The Live Art exhibit, the Direct Action booth and much more. Go to www.humanrightstour.org for more information.

LOCAL BOX OFFICES COMING SOON!

We try hard to keep the cost of the festival affordable for everyone. One of the ways we do this is with a variety of local box office outlets near you. Buy a ticket at your local box office and save on shipping and service fees. Be sure to keep an eye on the website as we'll be adding box office locations as they open.

Thanks folks. We'll be back in touch soon.
