“Been Fishin’” by Joe Barrington
- CHICKASHA – Take in the sculptures, drawings and photographs of husband-and-wife artists Joe and J.J. Barrington at the Barrington and Barrington Art Show at the USAO Art Gallery. An opening reception is set for 6 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit runs through Oct. 3. The USAO Art Gallery is on the first floor of Davis Hall on the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma campus. Gallery hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. The show is free and open to the public; due to the adult nature of the exhibit, parental discretion is advised. - Check out the Oklahoma City Storytelling Festival, which will bring four world-known tellers, workshops and local performers today and Saturday to Stage Center, 400 W Sheridan. Formerly known as WinterTales, the festival this year will feature renowned storytellers Kevin Kling, Susan Klein, Motoko and Minton Sparks. Performances are 8 p.m. today and Saturday.
