Todd Snider

Attend Todd's Next Recording Session!

This December 3rd-5th Yep Roc recording artist Todd Snider -- whom Kris Kristofferson describes "as poetic a writer as anybody" -- will be the special guest at MPI: Music Producers' Institute in Nashville, TN.

MPI is offering, a new three-day studio program that teaches you how records are made from start to finish. You'll observe Todd record at Nashville's famed Sound Emporium Studio A, -- site of recent sessions for Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Trisha Yearwood and countless others.

For the first time ever, Todd Snider will open his studio doors for you to see and hear his entire record-making process, from pre-production and tracking, to overdubbing, mixing and mastering.

Todd will track and mix new songs on December 4th and 5th from 10am-5pm. Plus, on December 3rd, you'll attend a full-day production clinic at the Sound Emporium led by Grammy-winning record producer and musician Steve Fishell. Fishell will lead you through a one-day "crash course" about every aspect of the record producing process.

Tuition for this very rare three-day event is $1,200.00 per attendee and class size is limited to only ten students. No previous studio experience is required. To learn more about registration, please visit MPI's website, call MPI at 615-337-0092 or email at sessions@musicpi.com.

Founded in 2008, MPI has hosted studio clinic sessions with guest artists Radney Foster, Robert Earl Keen, Asleep at the Wheel, Raul Malo, Jerry Douglas, Jason & the Scorchers, Sam Bush and Delbert McClinton.
