Wanda Jackson will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight. Jackson will be inducted by Rosanne Cash.

The induction ceremony will be broadcast live on FUSE Television Network (Cox channel 181, DirecTV channel 339 and DISH Network channel 158), beginning at 8pm CST.

Other 2009 inductees include Metallica, Run-D.M.C., Bobby Womack, Jeff Beck, Little Anthony & the Imperials, Bill Black, DJ Fontana and Spooner Oldham

Jackson becomes the fifth Oklahoman act (born or adopted) to be inducted into the Hall. Woody Guthrie (1988), Charlie Christian (1990) and Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys (1999) have all been inducted as early influences. The Ventures were inducted in 2008 as performers.

Jackson is already a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, Oklahoma Country Music Hall of Fame, International Hall of Fame, International Gospel Music Hall of Fame and German Country Music Hall of Fame.
