Tumbleweed adds ... for even greater events...

To Tumbleweed customers and our countless Calf Fry Fans,

As we enter the final month in preparing for the 18th Annual Calf fry, we are reminded of how much each of you has meant to the continued growth and expansion of this unique event. Each and every one of you is appreciated for your support and event attendance. Your choice to attend this event is appreciated.

This year, our major annual event was expanded to four nights. The decision to expand to four nights was mostly out of a desire to merely meet the growing expectations of artists wanting to play Calf Fry and to bring in those Artists that our loyal customers wanted to see. The end result reflects that effort.

We definitely mixed it up with old favorites and some shinning starts. While some did not return this year, efforts will be made to secure them for future events at Tumbleweed. With Pat Green, Miranda Lambert, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Jason Boland and Stragglers, all of the support artists, we feel confident that this is the best full Calf Fry line-up ever. That is a hard bar to meet given our 17 years of calf fry.

This year we also have tried to add some improvements (like we do each year) that would make our facility more accommodating to our customers. In attempting to do many improvements and due to the wet weather of the past week, we are unable to deliver the quality of service and facility to host a VIP section this year.

Our goal is to continue to make permanent improvements for a premier section for VIP by College Fest this coming August. The new VIP facility will have separate beverage service, separate restrooms, sectioned out door seating, covered and air conditioned seating, special parking lot and cart service from parking lot to VIP Section (avoid some lines) and will be elevated stage side and over the center of the arena. It will be well worth waiting for us to finish this project.

However, we have been and are very active in making changes and making improvements for Calf Fry 2009. Here are the following different improvements that are underway;

RV and CAMPSITES

1) There will be 6 RV spots with full hookups. The price of $600.00 includes a RV parking spot (20’x80’) with hookups. Plus, a designated parking spot for one other vehicle. In addition, 4 General Admission Tickets, picnic table, trash pick-up, and closest spot to the Main Arena Entrance. Please email INFO@Calffry.com to and reserve and pay for your ultra prime RV parking spot. NOTE: No vehicles will be allowed to enter or depart starting one hour before gates open and 2 hours after concert ends for safety reasons.

2) There will be 14 RV spots with no hookups. The price of $400.00 includes a RV parking spot (20’x80’) with NO hookups and a designated parking spot for one other vehicle. In addition, 4 General Admission Tickets, picnic table, trash pick-up, and closest spot to the Main Arena Entrance. Please email INFO@Calffry.com to and reserve and pay for your ultra prime RV parking spot. NOTE: No vehicles will be allowed to enter or depart starting one hour before gates open and 2 hours after concert ends for safety reasons.

3) There are 30 campsites (15’x20’). Price of $300.00 includes two General Admission Passes. The site is available with water and one 10 amp circuit of electrical service. NO SHOWERS AVAILABLE this year.

NOTE: #1 Porta-potties will be located near campsite for convenience. Parking for one vehicle will be permitted at campsite.

NOTE: #2: No vehicles will be allowed to enter or depart starting one hour before gates open and 2 hours after concert ends for safety reasons.

NOTE: #3: No open flame burning or open fire cooking on the grounds permitted.

NOTE #4: Trash will be picked up each day before noon.

NOTE: #5: Only campers (RV and campsite) with appropriate wristbands will be allowed in campsite and RV areas for security and safety reasons.

RESERVED PICNIC TABLE

Tell your friends where you plan to party….

Reserve one of 15 party pens that include a 10ft x 10 ft penned area for your friends to party in each night of Calf fry. Price of $250.00 includes your reserved pen for all 4 nights of outdoor shows, a picnic table, a designated 10 ft x 10 ft penned area with reserved signage. Includes a premier designated parking spot (see below).

Party pens will be located on north side of the concert arena- area slightly elevated above the crowd, mid arena distance from stage, and less than 100 ft from both BEER and RESTROOMS. Tent covering is only $125.00 extra and by reservation.

FOUR Levels of Parking

Premier Designated Parking ($40.00) This is your specific parking spot by numbered space for the entire event. This parking is directly in front of the main club facility and on asphalt pavement. Entrance will be limited too the EAST driveway and your parking pass will need to be displayed.

Any spots not reserved for the entire event will be available on a nightly charge of $20.00 per vehicle.

VIP Parking ($30.00) This is restricted parking on gravel lot directly adjacent to Main Concert Venue for the whole event. Entrance will be restricted to just 400 vehicles plus camping vehicles for the entire event.

Nightly parking is on available basis only and will be $15.00 per night.

BOTH DESIGNATED AND VIP PARKING REQUIRES PARKING PASS TO BE DISPLAYED upon entering and exiting parking lot.

WEST PARKING LOT (same side of street as concert facility) will be charged at $10.00 per night on first arrival basis.

SOUTH PARKING LOT will be FREE parking and will have limited entrance- just west of the exit gates. Please follow signs and security personnel directing vehicles in the parking lots. This lot is on grass and subject to weather conditions.

RESTROOMS

Our biggest goal this year is to construct permanent restrooms for our outdoor events. We will be working hard to give you a nicer, well lit, and very convenient set of restrooms. Both of the men’s and Ladies rooms will be much nicer than porta-potties and offer handicap accessible features for our special needs guests.
