Hello from Camp Cooper! There is so much exciting news to share. So on we go… RECAP: Billy Bob’s CD Release Party – July 10, 2009 A night to remember! Billy Bob’s Texas in Ft. Worth was the first time to premiere the new CD FOLLOW. With the support of the hometown radio station, 94.9 The Outlaw, along with Scotty P, Ron & PJ… a bus and limousine packed with “ ticket winners, ” and over 2000 crazy fans “in the house”!!!!

The night began with meet and greets with Johnny and the band in the green room. You could feel the excitement and anticipation in the room as everyone found their seats. With an introduction by the DJ, the playing of the FOLLOW Video, and the entrance of the band onto the stage, Johnny was ready to Kick It! Johnny played the new CD from beginning to the end. Entrances and exits were choreographed for the additional 7 members of the show.

Johnny had 3 horn players, 2 female backup vocalists, a percussionist and a scratch mix DJ in the band. Lights and special effects where all in high-gear, along with a videographer and photographer Robby Hudgens, and without stopping, the band laid it down! There was a seamless transition into the second part of the show which included the hits from IGNITION, followed by 2 encore songs. This show was a non-stop freight train!

After the show, it was autograph time, and Johnny and the band hung out for 2 more hours! YES, the line was THAT LONG! It was such an amazing surreal night… that they are going to do it again.
