Susan Herndon

Greetings!
Hope you don't mind...
I'm sending this out again,
with a reminder that we'll be at the Chouse in Norman this Saturday.
And, with added dates for the month of October...
namely, at the Tulsa State Fair Wine Garden, at Bodeans,
and more Songwriter Nights at Crow Creek-- it's been so much fun.
Hope to see you soon!
~Susan

Crow Creek Tavern.  (3534 South Peoria Ave, Tulsa.) Tuesday, 22 September, 6 & 20 October, 8 pm.  This is a Songwriter Night and Musician Jam that I'm hosting.  Heard a lot of great songs last time from many great songwriters that came to join in.  You come, too!  Don't worry about the crows.  To add... they've asked us to continue on-- it's been so much fun and with so many great songwriters and musicians (even coming in from Tahlequah, Okemah, Muskogee, Fayettville, Bearden and Norman) and beautiful lovers of song coming out... what else would you do on a Tuesday night?

Southwest Regional Folk Alliance.  (6000 Middle Fiskville Road, Austin TX.)  Friday, 25 September, 4:10 pm & 11:10 pm and Saturday, 26 September, 10:50 pm & 2:10 am.  First time to attend SWRFA, as they call it.  Anybody else wanna come too?  I hear it's music and song all night long all night long all night long...

The Living Room.  (1306 West 39th Street, Kansas City, MO.)  Friday, 2 October, 7 pm.  Opening for Bob Livingston.  This is a house concert we're playing.  Thinking the Kitchen, the Dining Room, and the Bathroom are in my future for places to play.  For more info on Bob, go to:  www.texasmusic.org/index.php

The Chouse.  (717 West Boyd, Norman, OK.)  Saturday, 3 October, 7 pm.  With Bob Livingston and Terry 'Buffalo' Ware.  Looking forward to playing the Chouse again,  and again, in Norman, my old stomping grounds.  A great place to be, along with The Princess Jackie Pi :-)  We're really not crazy, competing with OU Football...  we scheduled this before they decided the game should be played in the evening.

Tulsa Community College.  (909 S. Boston, Tulsa.)  Tuesday, 6 October, 11 am.  Don't know if you necessarily have to be a student to attend this event...  we could sneak you in?

Tulsa State Fair.  (Southwest corner of the QT Center at the Fairgrounds, 21st Street between Harvard and Yale, Tulsa.)  Friday, 9 October, 5-7 pm.   A wine garden at the Fair!  Featuring 8 OklahomaWineries!  Yay!  Music!  Wine!  Funnel Cakes!  Bobo the Clown!  Fried butter on a stick!  Who could ask for anything more?

Frank & Lola's.  (200 E 2nd St #1, Bartlesville, OK.)  Saturday, 10 October, 9 pm.  With the band!   At the delicious, delectible Frank & Lola's... dinner, music, wine, with my favorite buddies in the whole world, who could ask for anything more?  www.frankandlolas.com

Bodeans.  (51st and Harvard, Tulsa, OK.)  Sunday, 11 October, 6-9 pm.  With the band!  The delectable and exotic otherworld of Bodeans.  We'll be the guys with the instruments playing in the corner...

The Inn @ Price Tower.  (510 South Dewey Ave, Bartlesville, OK.)  Friday, 16 October, 7 pm.  Ahhhhh... Frank Lloyd Wright, the beauty you have built for us is incomparable.  "The tree that escaped the crowded forest."  People come from all over to experience it.  Do Okies even know about this great place, I wonder?  For more info, go to: www.pricetower.org

French Hen.  (7143 South Yale Ave, Tulsa.) Saturday, 17 October, 7 pm.  Si je suis a Tulsa, c'est la ou je serai, chantant des chansons francaises...

Grape Ranch.  (6 miles south of I-40 and Okemah, OK.)  Sunday, 18 October, 2 pm.  Again, my home away from home, though not very far...  always a lovely time.

Big Fish.  (414 South Main, Grapevine, TX.)  Saturday, 24 October, 7 pm.  I'm bait at this gig  :-)    Great to see my Texas kin and friends...

La Diosa Cellars.  (901 17th Street, Lubbock, TX.)  Tuesday, 27 October, 7 pm.
With Andy Wilkinson and Andy Hedges.  First time to play in Lubbock... and it's a long way out there but well worth it... (Attended Andy W.'s workshop on creativity this summer... pretty amazing stuff--the proof's in the pudding of his great songs!)

Crescent Moon.   (440 Rayford Road, # 115, Spring, TX.)  Thursday, 29 October, 7:30 pm.
If I do well at this show, it may parlay my way into playing at the Quarter Moon, Half Moon, and Full Moon for next time.  Still first time at this club--  come on down to Houston-way, but behave :-)
