LIVE REPORT: JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE BRINGS 'FUTURESEX' TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
Last night, Justin Timberlake played the second of two shows at Madison Square Garden. The successful New York stand - which will be made into an HBO special, to air on Labor Day - is part of a busy August for Timberlake: He's also got a hot new single "LoveStoned"; a highly anticipated new duet with Madonna; the hip-hop hit "Ayo Technology" with 50 Cent and Timbaland; his new label Tennman Records (a joint venture with Interscope); and a new restaurant in Manhattan. Click here for a full report on the show.

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN'S 'MAGIC': EXCLUSIVE DETAILS ON THE NEW E STREET BAND ALBUM
On October 2nd Bruce Springsteen will release Magic, his first album with the E Street Band since 2002's The Rising, and Rolling Stone has exclusive details straight from Springsteen's manager. "You could say that it's a little more sonically guitar-driven than any past Bruce album," Jon Landau tells us. "There are a few sort of pop, romantic touches that were very prominent on the very early records." Click here for more information on the album, including its track list.

AMY WINEHOUSE CANCELS ALL UPCOMING TOUR DATES TO ADDRESS HEALTH CONCERNS
After nearly a week of speculation on Amy Winehouse's condition, the singer's rep has issued a statement confirming Winehouse is "putting all her touring commitments for this month on hold until further notice in order to address her health." The statement did not acknowledge whether Winehouse had suffered a drug overdose, pure exhaustion or any of the other many ailments circulating rumors had devised. Click here for more on Winehouse's status.

'ROCK BAND' - A HANDS-ON TEST OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED VIDEO GAME OF THE YEAR
Buzz for four-player rock & roll video game Rock Band has been steadily building over the past year. Now Rolling Stone has tested out the Guitar Hero-like title that's being heralded as a breakthrough thanks to its gameplay and its soundtrack: Black Sabbath, the Who, Nirvana and David Bowie have contributed tracks, among others. For a full report on how the game works and whether it's worth the money, click here.

TODAY'S PICKS

DAILY TRACK: 1990s - 'You Made Me Like It'
1990s are a Scottish indie trio who pursue their ridiculous CBGB punk fantasies with almost religious devotion, resulting in some of the most hilariously brilliant singles of the past year. Singer-guitarist Jackie McKeown yelps daft gutter poetry ("T.B. sheets, Irma T, money-back guarantee. . . . Bobby D's in Mozambique, me, I'm on Decatur Street!") in the spiky anthem "You Made Me Like It." Click here for more on the 1990s' album.

DAILY REVIEW: Rilo Kiley - 'Under the Blacklight'
Because Rilo Kiley's More Adventurous was a triumph of the well-made narrative song, its markedly terser and beatier follow-up, which is also the band's true major-label debut, will be accused of sellout. Instead, it's yet more adventurous, a prosperous band's challenge to its comfortable cult. Always too cute for serious indie cred, Jenny Lewis slips four songs about dangerous sex in which she herself might be indulging -- right now, in her pretty prosperity -- into music that's defined rather than just decorated by its stylistic flirtations. Click here for more of Blacklight's four-star review.
