Red Dirt’s Hottest New Band Promotes Debut CD and New Single With a Series of Texas Appearances
NASHVILLE, TN (June 17, 2009) – The Red River Mudcats, one of the most promising new bands to come out of the Texas-Oklahoma “Red Dirt” music scene, will perform a series of shows in the central Texas region beginning this week.
The band is using the opportunity to debut their new self-titled CD, and to promote their latest Cimsound Records single, “Texas Eagle” which features the guest vocals of Red Dirt star, Jason Boland.
On Friday, Jn. 19, the group will appear in Temple at Bum’s Sports Bar and Grill at 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, Jn. 20, they will play two shows in Austin, with an early show at Saxon Pub at 6:00 p.m. and also at 9:30 p.m. at Bum’s Billiards, in North Austin. On Saturday, Jn. 27, they’ll be returning to Austin with an 8:00 p.m. show at the Amsterdam Café.
