Tulsa car shows and concerts=Free

How about these concerts and a car show at our favorite price, FREE?

Prefest to Dfest: Owen Park hopes to ‘drum up’ interest in the Tulsa community by hosting the first official “Countdown to Dfest” party on June 26, 2009. The DFest Music Festival and Conference officially starts on July 24-25, 2009, but the “Countdown to DFest“ party is free. The party includes Tulsa’s own Dfest artists to perform on the north side of the park, on the Tulsa Parks mobile stage. Acts include Miniver Cheevy, Jesse Aycock, and Anthony “PDA” Jenkins. More acts are sure to follow and will be announced later. The free show is from 4:30 pm to 10 pm. Owen Park is located at 560 N. Maybelle Ave, in downtown Tulsa.

Black Gold Days: Glenpool’s Black Gold Days 2009. Free music concerts include Christian & Gospel and Country & Bluegrass. Also featuring food, a carnival, parades, vendors, a fireworks display and more. June 18, 19, and 20, 2009. Please call (918) 322-3505 or go online for more info.

Starlight Concerts: Brought to you by Star Light Bands, free concerts, an Oklahoma tradition for 63 years. Located at River West Festival Park, All concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and are held at the River Parks Amphitheater unless otherwise noted. Free admission and door prizes.

Sperry’s Old West Fest: Come ‘on over to Sperry for some good ‘ole Rock N’ Roll with Wanda Jackson at 7:15 p.m. on June 20, 2009. Old West Fest features a car show, arts and crafts booths, good food, a parade and lots of live music. Fun starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Sperry town square, Sperry, OK.
