Musicians and Music Lovers for Smoke Free Listening

Hi this is Margee Aycock here... mom of Jesse Aycock and Dylan Aycock ( Musicians, singers/songwriters/composers ) and wife of Scott Aycock ( Folk Salad Radio Show NPR in Tulsa and singer/songwriter ) and friend of countless musicians and music lovers.

I have begun a grassroots campaign to protect the health of our greatest Oklahoma Assets... our musicians. Anyways instead of writing a bunch of stuff here I have created a blog... http://oksmokefree.blogspot.com for musicians and their fans to keep abreast of upcoming legislation, link to their own sites, find their legislators and to take action. Since beginning the campaign the American Cancer Society has stepped up to help me out, many musicians (both non smoking and smoking musicians) have offered to help, along with hundreds of music fans and Senator Meyers has authored a bill so we are well on our way.

Please feel free to use any information from the above web site to get the word out.

We can't afford to loose any more of our most loved musicians. Anyone interested in joining us may add their name to our list by writing artistswaygallery@yahoo.com and put smoke free in the subject line. There will be a future call to action that will be sent out to those on that list.
