SXSW Those of you attending this year’s SXSW will have ample opportunities to see the band. There will be specific information in next month’s newsletter, but here is a Triple Bill worth putting on your calendar now. Friday, March 14th – BMI Showcase with Reckless Kelly, Miranda Lambert and Dolly Parton. This will undoubtedly be the event of the festival, so make plans early. It’s Leap Year! Reckless will be playing at the Jolly Fox Club in Huntsville TX for that rare occasion, try to join the band for a rare February 29th show. Dr Pepper and Wendy’s Reckless Kelly will be a featured artist on a promotion with Wendy’s and Dr Pepper. Starting February 4th Wendy’s will be serving up a special download offer promoted in Texas and Oklahoma on their drink cups. Follow the directions on the cup and get a free download from Reckless Kelly.	Recording Update: The Reckless Boys are busy in the studio and all reports are that things are going really well. Sessions will be wrapping up in mid-February and then it’s back on the road with a non-stop schedule all through spring and summer. Look for the release date in our March newsletter. The Day and Live at Stubbs – downloads coming soon Both of these hard to find releases have been re-mastered and sound great! They will be available for download and CD sales at www.theconnextion.com. CD’s will also be available at tour dates. Check the site for availability in February.
