Find Me Independent Film Showcase Screening

Trost Moving Pictures, a Tulsa based film production company, recently completed its first feature length film, Find Me. A showcase screening of the independent film is scheduled Saturday, May 30 at 6 p.m. in the main floor auditorium of the East CityPlex Tower in Tulsa.

Writer and Director Tracy Trost said, “The project is really about things I’m interested in right now: the idea of liberty or freedom and geocaching.” Geocaching is a sport that uses handheld GPS devices to hide and locate geo caches, containers that hold items ranging from a simple log book to highly valuable treasures.

Find Me introduces several college students who, while innocently taking part in the sport, accidentally stumble into a kidnapper’s game. The kidnapper takes a senator’s son in order to prevent him from opposing a bill regarding religious freedom.

Trost Moving Pictures is also planning a geocaching-based contest that involves “Geo Reps,” or individuals who have signed up to help hide “Find Me Cache Cards” in their local areas. Geo Rep Manager Joe Jestus said, “We’re very excited about the interest we’re getting. We have over 100 Geo Reps in 41 states and 4 countries already, it’s growing almost every day.”
