Gainesville man wins Christian music Song of the Year award

GAINESVILLE - A Christian music recording artist from Gainesville has won this year's Kansas City Christian Music award for Song of the Year.
Joey Nicholson picked up the award at the Kansas City Christian Music Awards Show in Overland Park, Kansas. Nicholson won the award for his song, "Live For You."
“It’s a great honor to win this award”, Nicholson said, “but like the song says, it’s such an honor to live our lives for Jesus.”
Song of the Year is the KCCM Awards Show's top award.
Nicholson is a recording artist, worship leader, and minister whose ministry has led him to playing music in churches, in concerts and on missions trips. Joey’s music is for all people, and is encouraging and uplifting.
